Workshops for all ages

may

The workshop zone will be open on May 17 from 13:00 to 19:00. You can take part in any of them completely free of charge.

13:00–14:00 Jute instead of plastic: making an eco-sponge

Led by Olga, duration: 1 hour

Instead of disposable plastic sponges — a stylish and useful item handmade from natural jute. In this workshop, everyone will create their own eco-sponge: practical and long-lasting. A simple process and cozy atmosphere — a great way to spend time for yourself and for nature.

14:00–15:00 Floral comfort: plant, decorate, love

Led by YerevanPlants, duration: 1 hour

Houseplants are not just green friends — they're part of home comfort. At this YerevanPlants workshop, you'll repot a plant with care and attention, and decorate the pot in your own style using natural materials. A bit of soil, inspiration, and warmth — and your green corner will take on new life.

15:00–16:00 City heat: make your own insect waterer

Led by Zoya Dutova, duration: 1 hour

Pollinators are a vital part of the urban ecosystem, and in summer it's especially hard for them to find clean water. Together with ecologist and agronomist Zoya, co-founder of Plants&People, you'll create waterers for bees and butterflies to place on balconies, in yards, or parks. A simple step toward caring for urban nature.

15:00–16:00 The bee's warm trail: making beeswax candles

Led by Ashi, duration: 1 hour

A beeswax candle isn't just a cozy piece of decor — it carries nature's scent, warmth, and story. In this workshop, you'll make your own candle, learn how beeswax differs from other materials, and why it's considered an eco-friendly choice. A meditative, soulful process that invites you to slow down, take a deep breath, and light a little flame — for comfort, peace, and inner light.

16:00–17:30 Eco-craft: creative woodworking for kids

Led by STOLYARKINO, duration: 1.5 hours

STOLYARKINO is a workshop "just like dad's" where kids discover real craftsmanship and create things with their own hands. Children will woodburn and paint wooden medallions, build toy airplanes from scrap materials, and choose a craft — a flower or a car — to saw, burn, and paint themselves. Simple, safe, and inspiring: wood, warmth, and creativity — the perfect recipe for engaging children.

17:30–18:30 Summer Impressions: Clay Pendant Workshop

Led by ArtLav, duration: 1 hour

The ArtLav workshop will teach you how to sculpt stylish clay pendants with plant imprints. You’ll choose leaves, flowers, or grasses, press them into the clay, and hand-paint your pendant. It’s not just a creative process — it’s a beautiful accessory you can collect a week later, after drying and firing, at the cozy ArtLav studio. Create a unique nature-inspired piece and pick it up from one of the city’s most creative spaces!

13:00–19:00 Mindful time: create a perpetual calendar

Led by ARTPEVKO, duration: 1 hour

This workshop runs almost all day — you can join anytime. With artpevko.yerevan, participants will create a unique perpetual calendar, paint it, and take it home. A creative activity about mindfulness, time, and the joy of handmade work. Participation by donation.
